Our AGM will be held on Saturday 8th September, all members and supporters are welcome! (See below for a note on membership)

This is also the day of a global action on climate change, so in the afternoon there will be the opportunity to join a visual action, part of the global ‘Rise for the Climate’ mobilisation. At the end of an extraordinary summer, this will highlight the need for urgent action to break free from fossil fuels. Find out more

The AGM will be from 11am at the Crowndale Centre, 218 Eversholt Street NW1 1BD.

We’ll be looking back at the past year and plans for the future. We will also be electing members of the steering group of the campaign. The steering group meets around 5 times a year and is responsible for the strategic direction and financial management of the Campaign against Climate Change. Members also contribute actively to the campaign according to their own skills and interests.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the steering group, please contact info@campaigncc.org for more information. We are looking to increase the diversity of our steering group (and would be particularly glad to hear from anyone with fundraising expertise!). 

Nominations should be submitted with the names of your proposer and seconder, and a couple of sentences explaining why you are standing, by midnight on 2 September.

If you have a motion that you would like to be formally debated at the AGM, please submit it to info@campaigncc.org with the names of proposer and seconder by midnight on 2 September. Motions should be brief (300 words max).

Membership of the campaign: To be as inclusive as possible, we only ask for a small minimum donation - £5 waged or £1 unwaged gives membership for a year and the right to vote at our AGM (and you can sign up on the day). However, if you can give a regular donation, this is much appreciated to allow our work to continue.
