National Climate March 2009

Saturday December 5th - on the eve of the Copenhagen Climate Talks

Join the biggest climate demo in the UK so far!

Climate Emergency Bike Ride The day kicks off with a cycle ride for those who like to  protest on two wheels. Assemble at Lincoln's Inn Fields at 10.00 am. The ride will  finish at the Climate Emergency Rally. See more here.

Take a more radical climate message to the demonstration! Come to the 'Climate Emergency Rally'!  Help us promote the message that the climate crisis is an emergency requiring emergency measures! Make sure the UK governemnt understands we are not just demonstrating for a fair and effective deal at Copenhagen but also for them to do much more to fight the climate crisis at home! Most of the measures we will be promoting at the Rally are also in Early Day Motion 2057 - see here.  The Rally will start at 12 noon at Hyde Park. After the Rally we will feed into the march organised by the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition - see below -  leading to the "Wave" event.

Download the flier from our leaflets page. For transport to the demonstration from around the country check the Local groups page.
